I joined the George in December 2021, progressing from Late Night Manager to my current role as Group Operations Manager for Kahan Group.
My 15-year hospitality journey began at age 16, shaping both my career and identity. What drives me is the genuine connection with my team, who’ve become like family, and the rewarding interactions with our guests.

My management approach is hands-on, I believe in working alongside my team rather than simply directing. There’s nothing more satisfying than watching everyone unite during peak service, performing at their absolute best. These moments of collective excellence make the challenges worthwhile and remind me why I love this industry.

Since joining The George on Collins in January 2023, I’ve leveraged my diverse background to enhance our events programme. My Melbourne journey began in 2018, progressing from bartending to marketing roles before finding my passion in event management.

Now overseeing events at The George on Collins, I orchestrate over 1,500 events annually, from intimate corporate dinners to grand charity galas and everything between.
My management approach emphasises collaboration and individual strengths. I empower team members by recognising their unique talents whilst providing clear guidance. This balance of autonomy and accountability, underpinned by consistent communication, enables us to deliver flawless experiences across multiple locations, transforming clients’ visions into unforgettable celebrations.

I arrived in Australia from North Wales in February 2023, joining The George on Collins initially as a waitress. My hospitality journey began in 2016, progressing through various roles to management positions across multiple venues. What began as a waitress job quickly evolved into a rewarding career, I now proudly manage the restaurant and its dynamic team. The diversity of our service offerings, from corporate lunches to intimate dinners and vibrant late-night service, keeps every day fresh and engaging.

My management philosophy centres on respect, transparency and hands-on leadership. I believe in supporting my team through every challenge, maintaining clear communication, and empowering each member, creating an environment where exceptional guest experiences naturally follow.

My hospitality career began in 2012 on Melbourne’s Flinders Lane before advancing to management roles the following year. In 2014, I moved to London with Sweet & Chilli, coordinating high-profile events across Europe, from Victoria’s Secret shows to exclusive brand launches.

After 13 years in operational management, I’ve recently transitioned to Strategic Partnerships Manager with Kahan Group, where I craft exceptional guest experiences across our four venues.
Despite my strategic focus, I regularly jump into service during busy periods. This hands-on approach keeps me connected to guest expectations and strengthens team cohesion, ensuring we deliver unforgettable hospitality experiences with precision and passion.

Since arriving in Australia from Northern Europe in 2014, I’ve worked through every hospitality role, from section waitress to bartender and host, gaining comprehensive insight into venue operations. My passion for events led me to my first Event Manager position in 2020. As a highly organised professional who thrives under pressure, I’ve successfully orchestrated everything from corporate functions to weddings over the past five years.

What drives me is seeing clients’ visions materialise into unforgettable experiences. My management approach emphasises creating a supportive, positive environment where team members feel valued and heard. By maintaining calm leadership even during stressful moments, I foster confidence throughout my team, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional guest experiences.
